Hello,

I just brewed a SNPA clone from BYO (http://byo.com/recipe-exchange/item/3025-sierra-nevada-pale-ale-clone), but I forgot the last hop addition at flameout! I've already pitched the yeast and it's sitting in my fermenter. I scaled the recipe slightly to 5.5 gallons, so it was 0.80oz of Cascade that didn't make it into the brew. I know that late hop additions are for aroma only, but I'm worried.

Should I add it now, prior to fermentation, or should I just wait and increase the amount that I will dry-hop with? Any ideas?

Thanks!

Don't add it now, dry hop with it in a couple of weeks.

Just wait 2 weeks, wait for the beer to ferment out then dry hop with it in either a secondary or in primary.

Some brewers dry hop before fermentation is complete, the feeling is the active fermentation moves the beer around and gets more out of the hops. Don't know if it works.
