hello, I am new here. I have a “ginger bug” I started 4 days ago. Plan on making ginger ale with my kids. It’s bubbling and smells amazing. I noticed these green-blue thread like things inside of it. Only two or three. I thought it was mold but all my research brought me to understand mold forms like white spots, fuzz and pungent smells on ferments. I’m wondering if perhaps something just fell in through the cheese cloth? This is my first time fermenting anything and looking to do many more projects. Thanks in advance for any wisdom!( I can post picture if anyone would like me to)
