I smacked a Wyeast smack pack 12 hours ago and it hase not puffed out at all.
At this point I feel that it is a bad bag. I have never had this happen before. Worst the local home brew supply is closed tomorrow. So I am going to have yo let my wort set for at least 56 hours with no yeast or go buy some from the brewery tomorrow. The problem with that is I was trying to use 1028 London yeast and all the brewery has is 1056 American Ale yeast.
This batch was manufactured on October 27 So it only 2 weeks old.
