i am making a wine and was wondering if i need to worry about light like i would beer? namely florescent light.

Yea, sunlight and flourescent light are not good for wine as they cause the breakdown of certain vitamins in wine...don't ask me how or why.

Throw a t-shirt on your carboy if you are worried.
