Brewed a recipe of Denny Conn's about 5-6 weeks ago- Imperial Vanilla Bean Porter. Pitched a 2L starter and fermented in my SS Brewbucket at 66F for 1.5wk, then ramped it up to 72F for diacetyl rest for a few days.

My FG was a couple points higher than expected- 1.020, but I figured it's a porter, and wouldn't mind the addition sweetness.

Sliced up two vanilla beans, soaked them in a 1/2 oz. of Vodka to sanitize and dumped them into secondary, before racking the porter on top.

It's been in secondary for about 2 weeks now and has been sitting at room temp in my apartment, about 70-75F on average. Krausen started to form about a week ago and now appears to be fairly active. I'm not terribly worried, but this is the first time I've ever gotten such activity during secondary.

Has anybody else experienced this?
