I found another use for my seal a meal vacuum sealer.
Resealing DME and Fermaidk bags from morebeer.
Works great

Dat's a good von! didn't think of that. Maybe plastic bags of grains too?

Yeah would be great for sealing grain bags. That would keep your grain fresh.
To the other poster: My Seal a Meal has a Moist setting that doesn't pull as hard a vacuum before sealing. It also has a way to seal the bag without vacuum.

Be careful vacuum sealing DME. That stuff gums up the works with even a slight bit of moisture/humidity if it gets sucked into the vacuum channel.

I had to take out and clean the foam rubber ring around the vacuum channel because it got some of the dme on it. I couldn't put anything in there and open the lid without everything sticking together. That stuff gets everywhere. It is nice to have per-measured DME for starters of different volumes handy though.
