Is that a solid piece of tree? Talk about flywheel. Nice!

Hi Mark - It is indeed a "cookie" chainsawed off the trunk of an old wild black cherry tree. Then it was flattened on both the sides and the face with an "ad-hoc" flattening jig and my router.
