I was recently given the exact recipe from a 15 barrel batch. I want to convert it down to a 6 gallon recipe. If I input the recipe in beer smith and scale it, is that it? Or will things be off?

I've scaled down one barrel recipes w/ BS by creating an equipment profile for the pro size, entering the numbers & scaling.
With this large a recipe try calculating the grain bill percentages, IBU's, etc. then create your recipe. If you have the data re ABV, IBU's, OG, SRM, etc w/ the recipe you can adjust as needed.
