I'm going to be brewing on Sunday but I will be slightly pressed for time. I'm considering letting all my equipment soak for 24 hours in starsan. Basically, I plan on filling up a large Rubbermaid container with my sanitizer and just let everything soak for about 24 hours pre-brew. This way I can just pull what I need out and call it good. Good idea or bad?

What are you actually sanitizing?
I don't sanitize anything aside from my carboys and O2 wand for a brew day.
Everything else is going to see boiling or near-nuff hot wort.

I wouldn't leave anything rubber or plastic in Star San for that long.
I left a carboy cap in a bucket of Star San over night a few weeks ago and now it'd fit a neck two sizes larger and needs a clamp for my actual carboys.
Color me surprised about that...

Cheers!
