Guys, I think I am okay here, but I just wanted to get verification to be safe: the switches in this diagram only need to be 10a rated right? Any spdt 10a switch will work?

So, if I were to use an inline fuse holder ronstep down the guage of a wire, but the lengths of wire attached to the fuse holder were of the lower guage and not the one I'm stepping down FROM, then the loop (and the switches and mechanism contained in the loop) would be protected by the fuse, but if the loop were to experience overamperage for any reason, that length of the wire on the supply side of the fuse holder may be damaged before the fuse blew?
Correct you are only energizing the coil
