Rookie Brewer, Professional Sampler

Just bottled my first batch, an IPA that came out quite dark and reddish in color but tasted great and seeing as though I didn't follow the instructions but I did pay attention, I'm quite optimistic and looking forward to many more batches.
Second batch to be a black IPA and then on to a Wit for my son who will be graduating from college this May

Jumping in with both feet as I've already dry hopped in the secondary and look forward to being able to create new beers to share.

Looking to maybe join a local club, The Midnight Carboys. Anyone know of these brewers out of Crystal Lake, IL? They meet at Dukes Ale house which is reason enough to join.

Welcome to HBT from a newbie myself. I just brewed my first last night and it's fermenting away! Hope you learn a bunch and that the Black IPA turns out good.
