SWMBO wanted me to start kegging (she's pretty rad). I told her I needed a way to serve the kegs first. She agreed to let me build a bar in the dining room of our apartment so long as it looked good, matched the dining table and we were able to take it with us whenever we moved out. I thought I'd show the only two pictures I took in the process so far.
It will fit two kegerator converted mini fridges inside, though I will only be having one. I will use the empty space for bottle storage.
It is on wheels so whenever I need to change kegs I will just roll it away from the wall.
The top is a butcherblock countertop (https://www.hardwood-lumber.com/store/) that I sanded, stained and poly'd to match the style of our dining table. It's 84" long by 29" deep.
It is a little on the high side at 45 inches tall. The overhang is 7 inches on the front and about 5.5 on each side. We plan to get a few barstools made and get the tap towers up once the new year comes around.
