Can someone explain the process of how you go about reusing yeast from one batch to another batch? Also how many times can yeast be reused? Do you need to start with a liquid yeast or can you reuse dry yeast? Is there a good yeast that you can recommend which will work well for most types of beers?

Most folks wash their yeast, but when reusing mine I just pitch the whole cake in... I have only been doing one style of beer for the time being, till I can get some sort of keg system going...

I have done both.

There are some good videos out there on the world wide web that show how to wash yeast.
