Been making Edwort's Apfelwein for a couple years now.
At one point last year the LHBS was out of the Montrachet so he gave me the Pastuer....I finally used it in 5 gallons in March.
Well it's been about 9 weeks now and it still looks pretty cloudy.
The top quarter or so looks more clear but the rest of the carboy isn't.
Is this normal for this yeast? Does it just take longer to drop than the Montrachet?
I haven't done any hydro samples yet, just curious after watching it the last couple weeks.
Should this yeast drop well with a sold cold crash?
