Quick question: My Hefe has completed primary fermentation, and is ready to rack into the bottling bucket. Do any of you have an opinion on whether or not it's advisable to scrape the yeast off the inside of the bucket (where the krausen once sat) back into the beer before priming? Is this a bad idea? There is absolutely no benefit to doing this but also a lot of bad things that could come from doing this. There is sooooo much yeast left in your beer right now there's absolutely no point

The majority of your yeast is going to be at the bottom in your trub if you are looking to harvest yeast for your next batch. There are lots of good videos on yeast washing out there if your want to reuse it.
