I want to try to clone this beer but I have no idea where to start. I was hoping someone would be kind enough to help me out on how to come up with my on recipe. There is some info on there website lHere, I'm just not sure of the quantities and hops I should use on this.

They might provide guidance if you ask nicely. And if you get an answer... please post it. :mug:

Any Suggestions?

I think your estimated gravities are off. I'm not real experienced in brewing. Only been doing this since spring, but I got into it specifically because of these seasonal and limited edition high grav beers that you can never get your hands on after you try them. I've been looking at a lot of these and actually found a good deal of similarities in them.

Most of these have an FG that's closer to 1.024. This is going to push your OG up around 1.088. Mash at the higher end of the scale to keep your FG up. Ingredients are usually listed by highest percentage first. For this reason, I think you're probably going to need to bump up your crystal/cara percentages.

Descriptions of the beer fall in line with what I've suggested above. It's described as "slightly bitter" at 1.015 FG and 43 IBUs I'd think they'd describe the bitterness as more substantial.

Thanks. That's what beersmith gave me after I put the info in. But i see what your saying I'm guessing I read it wrong.

Yes. I can't seem to find my notes anywhere. I wasn't to happy with the first version above. I know the chocolate malt needs to be dropped to somewhere in the 3/4 to 1 pound area. Then bump the caramunich up a little.
