So i just added my fermentables to my boil and the instructions said after 45 min add flavoring hops, well it's been 25 min get back to a boil , should I reset the timer for another 45min?

Does the recipe call for a 90 min boil? If so... then yes set timer for another 90 mins and add your additives as instructed.

it depends on what the next instructions are; boil 15 minutes and you're done?

in a boil that's supposed to last 60 minutes; start boil, after 45 minutes add your 15-minute hop additions for flavor, boil 15 minutes, remove from heat

don't start timer for next step until back to a boil, and if it takes 25 minutes to get back up to a boil, your burner is not adequate for the job

Well I ended up boiling for 60 min total , the gravity is right on the money, im just waiting it to cool to 70 deg tp add the yeast
