Trying to figure out which system I want and just wonder how those systems with integrated pumps are cleaned between brews. Seems like it would be problematic to get all of the old wort out of the pump/piping.

How do you insure they are clean?

Recirculate 140 degree PBW or Oxi for 20 minutes
This. Then like was already said, recirc with hot water afterwards.

Never had a problem with getting gunk out of the pump or having carry-over 'stuff' appear in a subsequent batch from internal piping. I also use muslin bags with hops, which helps--I just decrement hop utilization 5-10% in Brewfather to account for it, and it seems to work.
