Quick Grape Mead drinking temperature

Hello Guys,

I brewed this on 12/27/15 bottled on 04/05/16 it was still a tad too hot when I bottle it so I decided to give it a few month hoping it will tame down and be ready as a xmas present for the in-law. That being said I just reorganized my closet and look at those 10 bottles and decided that 9 left will be just fine for xmas. Now I am faced with the dilemma, what is the best temp to drink it ?

I welcome expert advice ... and dranken rambling as well ...

Gee, what a dilemma

I like my mead at room temp. My brother likes his chilled. So... pop the cork and tell us how it tastes.

I will second room temp. It seems to let more of the flavors present themselves.

Hi Guys,

took me a while to get the tasting done.

Room temp : damn that thing is hot I could not finish the glass.

Refrigerated : nice, not as tasty as I would have hoped but not hot at all, I think I will let this sit for another full year before messing with it again and see how the flavor develop. In the mean time I feel like buying a 2 gallon bucket at lower and starting it all over again
