Questions on plumbing from MLT to BK

Hi all -

I have what are probably noob questions here: on the Brew Magic system the MLT is hard plumbed to the BK. Does this tube run all the way to the bottom of the BK so as to not cause aeration? Wouldn't that make the BK hard to move for cleaning, etc? Finally, is that a thermometer or some type of flow meter in the middle there?

He's referring to hot side aeration when the wort is dumped into the boil kettle.

Got it...smart thinking! I assume it drops all the way to the bottom of the BK then?

preboil hot side aeration is subject of debate... there are many threads about it.. most people think it's a myth... if they're right, that means that tube does not need to go all the way to the bottom...
