So I tend to brew more than I can drink and brewed an IPA probably five months ago that turned out so-so. Because of that it's been sitting in a keg in my keezer without any use. I finally had to make some room for another beer and decided to check on it. Poured a glass off and it's mostly purple! I think it's because of the hops in the keg from dryhopping! I opened the top and sampled some with a turkey baster and it's perfectly normal looking! Taste a bit better up top too. Unfortunately it took about a gallon worth to get through the "purple haze" on the bottom...

Intersesting find! At first i didnt even know if I should try it it was so purple! Just any fyi if it ever happens to you! Cheers!

I haven't seen this, and breweries regularly leave their hops in the cask (and I do too)
