Programming Ranco 2 stage for singe stage?

I have mine set to my freezer and to a Heat bulb to ferment. But, when I do lagers I just have to keep at 50 so didn't even want to involve the heat lamp. Anyone know how to just set to cool? When programming you have to go thru stage 1 and stage 2 so either way your heat stage will be involved. But, I just figured I would set the cool at 51 with 1 degree diff then heat to 48 since It will never get that cool. Any ideas?

Unplug the heater would be the simple method. It's what I do with my love controller instead of changing settings.

Or set the heat to like 25 degrees so it will never trigger. That is what I do with mine when lagering.
