Well I just bottled my 5 gallon batch of Canadian Ale. My question is if I used to much Sugar. I got this as a kit and it came with 5 oz of priming sugar. I used the full 5 oz. The instructions dose not say how much to use. I just assumed I needed all 5 oz. Am I ok and was I supposed to use it all?
I bottled in 12 oz botles.

Thanks Roger

You're ok with 5oz, although personally I never use that much as I feel it is overcarbonated for most styles. I'm not exactly sure what a Canadian Ale is, but I'm guessing 5oz won't be out of place.

You are fine. 5 oz is designed for 5 gal batches. Even if you ended up with 4 gal, there would be a very minor and probably unnoticeable difference.
