I've searched all over and can fix little information on which hops available today would be historically accurate to use in a pre-prohibition American IPA.

All I've found for this time period in America is cluster cluster cluster cluster cluster cluster cluster cluster.... We're there no other American grown hops used during pre 1900 in America?

I just did a quick search, but the only additional domestic hop I could find was Fuggle, introduced in 1876. There are lots of articles about growing hops back then, but very few mention a hop variety by name.

Edit: Found a gold mine here: http://beerlegends.com/hops-varieties

I'm only to the B's and already found Brewers Gold and Bullion(1919).

Cluster was the dominant variety for many decades but there were probably some domestic plantings of English and German hops. Hops were definitely imported from Europe so using older UK varieties would be just fine.
