I hadn't seen any posts on this, but I'm sure someone's done something similar. I never use star san or any of the five star products, so I've always been jealous of the pre-measured pouring system. I always seem to use way more iodine than I need. So I have to dilute in more water and end up wasting iodine.
I use bulk Iodine from TSC (Tractor Supply Co), and realized that I had one of these things hanging around the house (That is almost empty). I didn't want to have to buy a five star product just so I could re-use the bottle for iodine.
Was really easy to pull the tube out of the bottle and replace with iodine.
Pretty minor and not a big deal, but it's the little things like this that make me happy.
