So I have a 4lb. can of pre-hopped IPA LME and a 3lb. can of dark LME. I am thinking about mixing the two for a five gallon batch and doing about a 20 minute boil with another ounce of hops. What do you guys think I might end up with? I was wondering if it might make something similar to a black IPA.

Probably more of a brown ale. You may need to steep some dark malt to make black.
