Polyurethane Siphon... Mistake?

Now i know, everything about it says NOOO!!!

But what are some of my possible faults here? It's probably not food safe.

Btw... everyone is gonna hate this but it's a Carmel Mocha Braggot that's been around for about 3 months now.. and I just HAD to rack it to secondary last night..

I think it would be fine this one time, but damn, that's an expensive siphon tube!

You can buy vinyl tubing at home depot for cheap... how long did it take to siphon, 1/4" tubing? musta looked like a carmel mocha braggot IV heading into secondary

It took about twenty minutes, thanks for the input. Takes a bit of the stress off my back
