Hi all,
I'm putting together a Tripel recipe, and this will be my first. Any feedback is appreciated!
10 lbs. Pilsner 2-Row (Belgian 2-Row)
1.5 lbs. Vienna Malt
1.5 lbs. Candi sugar
1.5 lbs. Dextrose
0.75 Saaz 60 min.
0.75 Tettnang 60 min.
1.00 Saaz 30 min.
1.00 Tettnang 30 min.
WLP500 Yeast
The OG seems to be low in BeerSmith 2 coming in at 1.073, but the est. ABV is 9.0% which should be good. The SRM is also uber-light, but I believe that is just for show (or am I wrong?).
Any thoughts? Will this be lacking in the little body that Tripels have?
