Looking ahead to after my Festbier has finished, I would like to use the WLP820 yeast cake to make my next beer. I'm thinking maybe a Christmas beer of some sort. Any suggestions?

I like doing that, too. I've got a pale ale in the fermenter now and will use the resulting yeast cake to ferment an imperial stout for a barrel project.
I've never made a Christmas lager, that might be interesting, especially if it was a big malty beer. You're thinking of the typical cinnamon, clove and allspice kind of addition?

Yep, I've done a Christmas ale. It had cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice.
