Last Sunday (10/3/10) I brewed an IPA with an OG of 1.062 and pitched it on the S-04 yeast cake left over from a batch of brown ale. I'd never pitched on the cake before this. I'd normally wait 3-4 weeks in primary before racking to dry hop this beer. But since the yeast is old(er) by now I was wondering if it is important to get the beer off the yeast sooner.

Opinions? Experiences?

Treat it the same as any other brew at this point. If/when I use a yeast cake I primary for the normal 4 weeks (normal for me....).
