Seeing as we cut the entire bine during harvest, has anyone had success with sticking part of the cut end underneath soil, to divide their plants at multiple times of the year? I see a lot of tropical area growers here, and think this would be perfect. Myself, I would have to put them in the greenhouse to prevent them from freezing, but more plants means more hops.

You're probably better off doing that kinda stuff in the Spring when the plants are actively growing. The timeframe after harvest is when the plant is sending it's energy back downward into the crown. Not saying it can't be done, just a little easier during periods of active growth. Hop On!
