I was cleaning out a keg and instead of dumping 5 gals of water/star san solution I placed the liquid in one of my fermentor bucket. This solution has been in there for approx 1 month. When I went to check the bucket there is are pink half dollar size spots on the top part of the bucket and on the bottom size of the lid. I tried scrubbing this with a dish sponge but have no success on removing these spots. Has anyone come across this problem? I just don't want to infect my beer.
