Hello:

My picnic taps keep falling apart.

Is there a more substantial tap for hand use?

(Without going the full faucet route)

Tom

As far as I know, not really. That's the unfortunate issue.

I don't think they exist, at least not that I've been able to find anywhere. It's pretty sucky how picnic taps all seem to be made out of really cheap plastic.

The crappiness of picnic taps is one of the main reasons I upgraded to proper faucets.

I have had the same two picnic taps for over 2 years. I do not use them that often, they subsidize my 6 Perlick taps, but have not had any problems with them.

I seemed that after I soaked them in PBW a and sanitizer that the handles now pop off.

Maybe the plastic was weakened?

I guess I should just buy in bulk;)
