All oxi-clean varieties clean nearly the same. The reason people use oxi-free is because it is fragrance free so it won't impart any flavors in your beer. I've used both with similar results.

Oxyclean is what is recommended for septic systems in place of chlorine bleach. In that context it's called an "oxygen bleach". The active ingredient is used in treatments to clean septic drainfields: http://www.oxyboost.com/products/oxy_septic.html

We use oxyclean in our laundry as well as for cleaning brewing gear. It also works good to clean the tub, sink and toilet.
