Overheard at the LHBS

As I was leaving the LHBS today, another customer walked in. The clerk asked the guy how he could be of assistance. The door shut behind me just after hearing the start of his answer so the only part I caught was "My tap handle just snapped off."

What's the backstory on that!?!? How does it just snap off?

If it weren't for my horse, I wouldn't have spent that year in college.

Heavy pours... not using a Perlick

Yup. Rear sealing faucet, plastic tap handle, a couple-few days without a pour.
Classic recipe for a snapped handle...and a switch to forward sealing faucets...
