I've been working on putting together a holiday brew, and I'm looking for some opinions on what I've got so far.

1/2lb Chocolate Malt
1/2lb Black Patent
1/2lb Crystal 40L
5.5lbs Light DME
1 1/2oz Fuggles (4.75%) @ 60
1/2oz Fuggles (4.75%) @ 30
1oz Bitter Orange Peel @ 15
1oz Sweet Orange Peel @ 15
4 cloves @ 15
Nottingham

OG: 1.056
33IBU
32SRM
5.7% ABV

I'd like to have a fairly smooth beer, with just a hint of orange and clove flavor for that Holiday/Winter feel. I don't really want those flavors to be overpowering, but I don't want them to be subtle either. Do the proportions seem right? I've left the aroma hops out in hopes that the clove and orange provide a nice aroma and don't compete with hops.

To increase the thickness of the beer, I've been debating adding either about 8oz of Maltodexterine, or about 1/4lb of wheat malt. I'd like the beer to have good head retention (and hope to carry the orange/clove aromas with it), and a full mouth-feel.

Thanks for your input.
