Made a batch of caramel apple cider from recipe found here. First batch I made last year was a hit, so let's do some more. Problem with this time is I miss read recipe directions and over shot OG by a lot, 30pts a lot. Added 6lbs of dextrose when after reading directions 3 more times figured I was to add only 2lbs. Well, what are my options? Let it go and call it apfelwein, let it ferment out and cut it with a low proof cider, or just make some knock you out caramel apple cider.
