Ok

I just got done moving. All my grains are in tubs. The movers lost the labels for the tubs. How do I figure out what is what grain?

At least the specialty grains are in smaller tubs.

How many do you have to figure out? I bet some folks on the forum can figure a bunch out by pictures, especially if you know what you have.

Go to lhbs and buy a very small quantity of each grain you know you have. Clear your palet and start tasting and labeling. Obviously by colour some will be easier than others.

Good luck.... You are going to have some interesting "Mystery" beers.....

If they are all base grains you could mix them well and call it Mystery pale malt. Give it an average in your recipe software and go for it!!

I would say 2 main grains and I think 4 specialty ones. I'm not completely unpacked yet
