Appears the right hand volume scale is in Imperial gallons, as 5 US gallons is only 18.93 litres. Brew on

I started out with the same exact setup, it also had a big red plastic valve at the bottom (which always had a small leak in it) Mine was used to heat sparge water for my 2 vessel propane outfit.
