Has anyone ever used this and got a distinct off flavor in their cider. I made a few batches with it about 9 months ago and I thought that it might have just been a young cider and needed time to mellow down. But after sitting for quite some time the flavor is still there and still very distinct. I got the same flavor in three different batches (all made the same time) using Nottingham, US-05, and English Cider Yeast. OG was 1.06 and FG was bone dry. I even used cambden before pitching the yeast to ensure nothing funky would take over. The cider isn't bad just not amazing... It doesn't taste like its infected or turning sour or vinegary. It just tastes off. It's kinda hard to describe. I think it's the juice but I just wanted to know if anyone else had experience with this juice?
