I discovered an interesting tool in a friend's cellar that in the dim light of the cellar I originally thought was the scratter companion to the basket press she inherited. I haven't had much luck with online research but I'm wondering if this is actually a grape crusher. A test run with apple slices wasn't very satisfactory but I'm still curious since I'm sitting on 225lbs of apples and still have trees to pick.
