Old CO2

So a pic of my Kegerator I started working on is below .. its not done yet!



The thing is im going to brew for the first time in probably 3 years. I still have a lot of pressure in my 5lb CO2 tank, but since its old will it be safe to carb my beers with and serve?

Since I have no beer in the keezer atm im going to use it to ferment a 12 gal batch of Helles this weekend.

I don't think CO2 gets old.

I.aquired a steel tank with the last fresh date of 1992 or something. I was worried about it and took it to the place I get mine filled, he said to not worry about it and use it up. I have.
