Oktoberfest Homebrew competition to benefit
the Ft Lauderdale Fire Benevolent (who does a lot of good charity work for the
community & helps sick and injured firefighters). This is not an official AHA or
BJCP event, just a fun fundraising event. I'm still working on the exact
logistics of the event. Feel free to contact me with any questions and please
disperse the flier to anyone interested in attending or competing. Should be a great time!

Here are the Official Rules:


2013 Fort Lauderdale Firefighters Benevolent
Oktoberfest Homebrew Competition
"Official Rules"


1. 3 separate categories will have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies. Popular vote, Brewers choice and Judges choice (which will be the grand prize).
2. Brewers may bring as many beer styles as they wish for the popular vote. However, they may only enter 2 brews for Brewers choice & Judges choice.
3. No charge for brewers. ($20 spectators)
4. No BJCP category style limitations.
5. Bring at least 2 gallons of each entry (keg, bottles, growlers...etc.)
6. Only beer brewed on homebrew equipment is eligible.
7. Each brewery will receive 1 score sheet to judge the brewers choice awards (you do not score your own beers).
8. Brewers Choice & Judges Choice will be scored on BJCP score sheet. (1-50).
