My CO2 regulator had a neoprene washer that sits between the regulator and the cylinder to ensure a tight seal. I just got a Nitrogen regulator and cylinder (for mixed beer gas), does it also need a washer? It didn't come with one and I can't find one for sale. I'm guessing not?

Nope. Nitrogen/helium/argon regulators in the US use a CGA580 fitting which is a true flare-style fitting with no washer.
