Nitro Question?

So I'm doing an oatmeal stout and would like to dispense with nitro but my question is do I simply force carb in keg as usual with co2 the switch over and dispense with b-gas using my nitro faucet or do I force carb with nitro?

Most of us force carb with straight CO2 before switching over to BG for serving. Just be careful and don't overcarb when on the CO2, as it's easy to do. You can carb it with the BG, though, but since it tends to be a bit pricey, better to use CO2.

You can do either, but you only need to carb to 1.2 or so volumes. If you go over that, you'll get nothing but foam.
