Hi. I’ve been brewing a few beers here and there but I really want to brew a Newkie Brown for some time now. I’ve found a clone recipe but I was wondering about carbonating. It mentions how much dextrose to us “if priming’. I know these ales are normally pretty flat. Has anyone brewed this before and has any advice?

Thanks.

I believe brown ales are between 1.5 - 2.0 volumes of co2 . You can check out a priming calculator to give you the amount of priming sugar needed.
