Newbie from Tulsa

Hey guys, I'm in the research stages of brewing, but will be gathering equipment for my first batch soon. I guess the reason for my interest in home brewing is that I spent a few years overseas (Germany), and since I came home, I have a very hard time finding the beers that I liked when I was there.
Anyway, any advice/guidance that you guys have will be greatly appreciated. See you on the forums!
