This is in no was a groundbreaking idea but I thought I would share anyway.
I was in my basement weighing out some dry hops today. Generally I weigh them in a plastic Solo cup, but today I ran out. I was looking around for something to weigh them in thinking I'd just use a pint glass, but that it would be a pain in the ass to empty them in my carboy because the glass has a wide rim.... Then I saw my old Gravity Tube and thought, that would work great... making it super easy to pour the hops into the neck of the carboy...
It worked very well... the picture is 2 ounces of hops and it is approx. 1/2 full. It can easily handle a 4 ounce charge.
Cheers
