Just curious if any other out there have purchased a riptide pump since October of 2020 that have noticed a difference in quality.
I’ve had multiple pumps over the years and remember my first riptide being amazingly quiet. I’ve worked with Blichmann to return one pump that was outrageously loud after a few months of trying to diagnose it.
Doing a wet run today on my system to just rinse and check for small leaks. The pump works, but it’s just not as quiet as the previous ones I’ve owned.
Always makes me nervous that any abnormal sound from a pump will eventually affect performance or longevity.
