I recently purchased the equipment for adding Nitro to my kegerator and when I connected the regulator to the tank I noticed that the glass protecting the needle on the left guage, the one with the "Fill Tank", has a crack in the glass.

I'm not sure when or how this happened, but my concern is that it is a warning sign that the regulator is some how defective. It might have cracked when I was tightening the gas line or the nut to the tank, but I'm not sure.

Is the glass purely cosmetic or should I replace the guage?
Thanks
